Copper Chemicals
ShoreMet specializes in chemically converting all grades of copper metal, producing customized copper chemicals to customer specifications, such as copper chloride solution, basic copper carbonate powder, copper oxide powder, copper sulfate solution, and copper ammonium carbonate solution.
ShoreMet uses hydrometallurgical processes to convert copper metal raw materials to copper chemical products. Copper is typically dissolved and processed in various chemicals to form customer-specific copper chemicals. ShoreMet’s finished copper products are then used primarily as intermediate raw materials for our customer’s finished products.

ShoreMet Basic Copper Carbonate Powder
ShoreMet’s Basic Copper Carbonate (CAS #12069-69-1) is a high-purity copper compound widely used for wood preservation, desulfurization catalyst, fungicidal formulations, electroplating chemicals, animal nutrient additives, ceramics and pigments, and specialty chemical manufacturing. ShoreMet’s Basic Copper Carbonate is registered as a pesticide (EPA Reg. No. 93381-1) under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). All raw materials are USA domestic-based, and ShoreMet Basic Copper Carbonate Powder is manufactured in Valparaiso, Indiana.

ShoreMet Copper Chloride Solution
ShoreMet’s Copper Chloride Solution (CAS #7447-39-4) is a high-purity aqueous solution used widely in the manufacturing of catalysts, animal nutrient additives, printed circuit board (PCB) etching, and in the production of other copper compounds. All raw materials are USA domestic-based, and ShoreMet Copper Chloride Solution is manufactured in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Typical uses include the manufacturing of fungicides/herbicides, catalysts, surface plating, etchant reagent, animal supplement additives, colorant agent and in the production of other copper compounds. All raw materials are USA domestic-based, and ShoreMet Copper Sulfate Solution is manufactured in Valparaiso, Indiana.
